OUR STORY
In 2003, Terry Keating and Art Candland founded TEAM after a series of bank trusts and corporate fiduciaries were found liable for large household employment-related claims. Because the trusts were considered the employers, and because employment liability is one of the few things that can pierce the veil of a trust, significant settlements had to be paid by both the trust and the fiduciary.
Terry and Art sought to change this, not only to provide services that shield financial institutions and fiduciaries from employment liability, but to protect the families and service providers from negligent employment practices.
OUR PURPOSE
For the past 21 years, TEAM has cultivated the employment expertise, institutional knowledge, and client-first mindset needed to manage household workers in a simple and compliant manner, while understanding that every client has unique needs. We strive to give our clients and the families they serve peace of mind knowing they can choose their own service providers without the burden or risk of being an employer.
